For nearly two decades, I dedicated my life to serving others as a paramedic and firefighter. I was proud to give the best of myself to the communities I served, always putting others first. This year, I made the difficult decision to leave the fire service after a job-related injury and the cumulative effects of trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. The transition has been incredibly challenging, and I am now working as an EMS instructor while trying to rebuild my life and well-being.
I have two small children and a wife at home who mean the world to me. My greatest hope is to be the best husband and father I can be, but after years of giving everything to my career, I find myself with nothing left in the tank. I am seeking help to access a year-long therapeutic treatment program through The 343 Fund, which partners with another organization to provide group, individual, and personalized care. This program is specifically designed for first responders and veterans facing mental health decline, and it has a proven track record of success. I have been awarded a partial scholarship, but I need to raise funds to cover my remaining obligation for treatment.
I’ve spent my entire career serving my community, and now I am asking for support so I can heal and move forward for myself and my family. Any help you can offer is deeply appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation.
