Veteran's fight for parental rights
Donation protected
Our son Cameron, a Veteran of the United States Army, is in the biggest battle of his life. He is fighting for joint legal custody of his son Eli.
Four years ago when Eli was born Cameron and Eli's mom were not married. At that time rights were automatically given to the mother. Cameron quickly started the legal battle to secure visitation. He has always been financially responsible for his son.
The battle in the court system is a costly one. The lawyers fees, court fees and filing documents all come at a high cost. Cameron was granted visitation and he juggles this willingly while adhering to his obligation in the Army National Guard. In September Cameron was unexpectedly served with a document stating that Eli would be moving out of state and his visitation would be drastically reduced and he would incur the burden of travel.
Despite continuing to carry debt from the initial court battle, Cameron again is gearing up to fight the system hoping to obtain joint legal custody of Eli ensuring his ability to maintain quality time with his son.
Cameron needs our help! Over the last four years father and son have established an amazing bond and formed a family with Cameron's new wife Kelsey. We can not let legal financial burden prevent a father from fighting for his rights.
This Veteran served in two tours of duty for his Country and deserves our help as he fights again for his son, to share not only the monetary responsibility but also emotional support.
We are asking for any assistance to help "Eli's Army Dad" gain the rights he should have been granted when his son was born. Cameron is a stand up dad and we appreciate any support.
Please pray for Cameron, Kelsey and Eli that the Judge has the wisdom to maintain this family.
