Help Cameron Access Life-Saving Cancer Trial

Donation protected
Cameron is a bright, funny 20-year-old who loves competitive video games and spending time in nature. In August 2024, he was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. After a major surgery to remove a tumor from his upper leg, Cameron has faced significant mobility challenges. Unfortunately, the cancer has spread to his lungs, and he is now on tumor suppressor medication.

Recently, Cameron was accepted into a clinical trial for a promising new medication at Northwestern University in Chicago. This trial is currently his only option, and early results suggest it could extend his life by several years—giving us hope that new treatments may become available in the future. However, traveling from our home in Phoenix to Chicago for these treatments presents a major financial challenge. Cameron will need to make multiple trips to Chicago over a five-year period, averaging about once a month. Cameron’s mom and I will be taking turns escorting him to his appointments, helping with airfare, lodging, and local transportation. Our hope is that, as the medication helps him feel better, Cameron will eventually be able to travel on his own and regain some independence.

We are deeply grateful for any support that helps Cameron access this life-extending treatment. Your donation could help him live long enough to pursue his dream of becoming a forest ranger and give our family more precious time together. Thank you for being part of Cameron’s journey and for giving us hope for the future.
