Help Support My Fight Against Cystic Fibrosis
Hi, my name is Camdyn, and I am reaching out to you today to share my story and ask for your support in my ongoing battle with cystic fibrosis (CF). CF is a life-threatening genetic condition that affects the lungs and digestive system, causing the body to produce thick, sticky mucus. This leads to severe lung infections, breathing difficulties, and digestive problems. It’s something I’ve been fighting since birth, and every single day comes with its own set of challenges. From breathing treatments and medications to constant doctor’s visits, my life revolves around managing my CF. But over the past few years, my health has taken a turn for the worse, and things have become even more difficult than I ever imagined. I’ve been hospitalized multiple times in the past few years due to worsening health. Doctors and specialists have worked tirelessly to figure out what’s causing my decline, but the answers seem elusive. While CF is always an ongoing battle, I’ve also been struggling with additional, unknown health issues that have made everything harder. The toll it takes on my body is immense, and the emotional and mental strain can be just as challenging. I’m not one to ask for help, but right now, I need it more than ever. Being sick has a significant impact on my ability to work, which in turn makes it difficult for me to save money for my future, including my college education. When I’m unwell, I can’t maintain a consistent work schedule, and often miss shifts or feel too fatigued to take on extra hours. This directly affects my income, making it harder to save up for important goals like tuition and living expenses while attending school. Without a stable income, it’s a constant struggle to plan for my future and secure the financial foundation I need to achieve my dreams, such as completing college and building a successful career. I’m doing my best to stay positive and continue fighting, but I can’t do this alone.
