Hi, my name is Camdyn, and I’m starting this fundraiser because I’m trying to build a life that my condition has made incredibly difficult.
I was born with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a disease that affects my respiratory system, pancreas, liver, digestive system, and overall health every single day. It’s not something I can turn off. It means constant treatments, doctor visits, hospitalizations, ER visits, and medical bills that never seem to stop. On top of that, holding a traditional job has been extremely hard because my health can be unpredictable.
But I don’t want my life to be defined by limitations.
Instead of giving up, I’m trying to create something of my own. A mobile Italian ice business. Also known as water ice. Something simple, refreshing, and joyful that I can run on my own terms, even on the days when my health isn’t at its best. This business isn’t just about making money—it’s about independence, purpose, and proving to myself that I can still build something meaningful despite Cystic Fibrosis.
I already have the foundation started, but the costs of getting everything fully up and running—permits, supplies, equipment, and ongoing medical expenses are overwhelming.
That’s why I’m asking for help.
Every donation, no matter the size, is helping me:
- Cover essential startup costs for my Italian ice business
- Stay on top of my medical bills and treatments
- Build a stable, self-sustaining source of income despite my condition
If you can’t donate, sharing this means just as much to me. I’m not looking for an easy way out—I’m trying to build something real while fighting a disease that never takes a day off. Your support gives me a chance to do that. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It truly means more than you know.
