Hi everyone!

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of Mr. Son and his free NGO school in Teak Vill Village, western Cambodia.

In 2025, I was lucky enough to spend two months teaching English to the students at COSD (Cambodia Organisation of Social Development). These students are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. They come from very disadvantaged backgrounds and, without this school, most would never have the opportunity to learn English due to financial barriers.

Thanks to Mr. Son and his free school, students are able to learn English and computer skills at no cost. Tourism is Cambodia’s second-largest industry, and having a strong level of English can be life-changing — opening doors to employment, stability, and a future out of poverty.

Unfortunately, Mr. Son’s school receives no government funding, which makes it difficult to keep the school running. This fundraiser is to help ensure the school can continue supporting these students.

How the funds will be used:

* 50% will go directly toward student supplies such as books, learning materials, and bicycles to help students travel to and from school.

* 50% will support the upkeep of the school, including electricity bills and essential maintenance — allowing Mr. Son to focus on teaching rather than worrying about covering costs.

In April, I’ll be returning to Teak Vill Village to continue teaching English and to personally ensure that all donated funds are distributed responsibly and used exactly as intended.
