Meet Calypso

She's a 17-year-old calico who purrs if anyone so much as makes eye contact with her.

Calypso has been my certified Emotional Support Animal since 2019 and has been my strength through a pandemic, multiple moves, job losses, and lost family members.

She's such a special girl. She's never bitten or scratched anyone she's met; she just wants a cozy place to receive love and pets.

Calypso had to go to the vet today, and she has diabetes, which is likely causing kidney failure. She's down to 6 pounds, which I'm sure you can tell by the photos is quite a change. She was 23 pounds when we got her!

I cannot financially or emotionally put her through dialysis or daily injections. Every visit to a vet is traumatic for her, and it takes her days to come back out of hiding. That's just not fair to such a sweet girl.

I'm looking for help hiring an in-home euthanasia service for Calypso. This way she can be in her favorite spot, with her favorite treats, and the people who love her in her last moments. She deserves dignity, love, and peace for everything she's done for our family.
