My name is Calvin, and I’m currently fighting a battle that’s left me physically drained, financially wrecked, and emotionally overwhelmed.
I’ve been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (kidney failure) and I’m now on dialysis three times a week. It’s a life-saving treatment, but also a life-altering one. The toll it’s taken on my health is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
While I was out on medical leave, doing my best to survive and follow doctor’s orders, my employer made the decision to terminate me. Not long after, my car was repossessed, leaving me without transportation to get to dialysis appointments, grocery stores, or job interviews. I’ve applied for assistance programs, but the waiting lists are long, and the system moves slow — too slow for someone in my condition.
I’m a father of four, and I’ve always done what I could to take care of my responsibilities. But right now, I’m the one who needs help. My situation is urgent. I’m doing everything in my power to hold on, but I can’t do it alone anymore.
This GoFundMe is to help cover:
• Transportation to dialysis and medical appointments
• Groceries and basic living expenses
• Temporary support while I recover and rebuild
If you’re able to give anything — even $5 — it truly makes a difference. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this page helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for your support, your compassion, and your prayers.
With gratitude,
Calvin.
