Hello everyone,

My name is Mitchell Sims, and I’m reaching out to you today to support a remarkable young man, Callum Howard.

I was introduced to Callum through his stepfather, Jeremy Mansfield (Jezza),from Elecnor Camp 2 Lockhart who has had the pleasure of being part of Callum’s life since he was 7 years old. Despite not being his biological son, Jezza has always loved and supported Callum as if he were his own.

Callum is turning 19 this December and is currently in his second year as an apprentice plumber. He is passionate about 4x4 driving, shooting, and fishing. Callum is always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need, without ever asking for anything in return.

Recently, Callum was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. This diagnosis has turned his world upside down, and he now faces a challenging journey of treatments and recovery.

Unfortunately, the treatment Callum needs is complex and may require seeking medical care both in Australia and possibly overseas, which adds a significant financial burden to an already difficult situation. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of his medical treatments, travel expenses, accommodation, and any other support he may need during this time. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to ensure that Callum can access the life-saving treatment he needs without the added stress of financial worries.
