February is National Spay and Neuter Month! My name is Gwen Kelly and I am the volunteer director for Georgia SPOT Society, Inc. We help people who otherwise cannot afford to spay and neuter their pets throughout the state of Georgia. We also assist with the spaying and neutering for feral cat colonies.
We have an amazing opportunity through Second Life but we need your help to pull it off! Until 2/28/25, Second Life will match donations up to $2,500. BONUS! If we get $2,500 in donations, they will give us an additional $2,500!
This will save thousands of animals from ending up in the shelter, abused or neglected. Shown in this picture is my foster dog Callum who is the Ambassador for Georgia SPOT Society. Please help Callum on his mission!!
Second Life was founded with the mission of giving homeless pets a second chance at life. They operate an upscale thrift store in Avondale Estates and an online store. When you shop and donate gently used items to their nonprofit, you help raise funds that support animal rescues and spay/neuter programs—like ours!
Since opening in 2011, they have donated over $2.7 million in grants to animal charities, saving lives and helping families be responsible pet owners. Visit secondlifeatlanta.org to learn how you can help animals just by decluttering your home and shopping for great finds.
