Hi! The puppy of our dear friend, Nicole, Callie, has cancer and requires chemotherapy to survive another year.

Like many of us who either worked for or contracted with the U.S. Government, Nicole has lost her job due to the dismantling of government institutions. Even for animals, chemo is quite expensive. During these trying times, Nicole can't conceive of departing with her dear Callie in the midst of trying to survive recent socio-political events. Callie is her lifeline.

As a result, Nicole's friends are reaching out on her behalf to raise as much as possible to offset Callie's chemo costs. Any amounts above and beyond actual costs will be donated to Berner Rescue. Nicole always steps up for her friends; let's step up for her.
