Help Cali Get ACL Surgery

Cali is an energetic two year old pit bull/bulldog cross who loves cuddling, playing with every dog she meets and has high aspirations to one day catch the neighbourhood squirrel. Cali was slightly overweight when she was rescued from the Delta Animal Shelter a year and a half ago, but has since lost 9 pounds and is very healthy and happy.

Cali loves nothing more than to play with her other canine friends, until about one month ago when her injury started at the dog park. Cali is in need of surgery to repair her torn ACL.

Her owner is unable to pay the $4000.00 that she needs for her dog's surgery and has exhausted every other option for Cali. She has called every shelter in the lower-mainland, but due to Cali's medical expenses, no one is accepting. Her only other option is to put Cali down, which would be devastating as Cali is a completely healthy and young dog who is full of life, aside from her torn ACL. Her owner lives on her own and works a demanding full-time job, but it is

not able to save enough money to cover Cali's medical expenses in enough time. The vet's have said that Cali needs to have this surgery done as soon as possible, as she is in a great amount of discomfort and the pain medication that she's currently taking will only work for so much longer before her injury gets worse.

Please help this young and beautiful dog and give Cali another chance at life!!
