Help Calissa Attend IFM Paris for Knitwear Design MA
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Calissa Teiniker. I’m a designer with a goal: to help reshape the fashion industry by bridging high fashion with sustainability, craftsmanship, and artistic integrity. I’ve recently been accepted into the prestigious Master of Arts in Knitwear Design program at IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) in Paris—an incredible opportunity that marks the next step in both my creative and professional journey. But I need your help to get there.
First and foremost, please prioritise donating to Palestine fundraisers. If you have the means to contribute here afterward, it would be deeply appreciated.
Why IFM?
IFM is one of the world’s leading fashion schools, celebrated for its innovation, technical excellence, and the creative minds it nurtures. For someone like me—who sees knitwear not just as fabric, but as a sculptural, emotional, and sustainable medium—this program is a dream come true. At IFM, I’ll have the opportunity to learn from global fashion leaders, explore cutting-edge techniques and technology, and develop a design language that is uniquely my own.
My Goal
I want to be part of a movement in fashion that values meaning over mass production. At IFM, I’ll gain the skills and experience needed to contribute to this shift—to create clothing that honors sustainability and celebrates individuality.
Why I Need Your Help
I’ve been awarded a scholarship by the school that covers just over half of my tuition. However, I’m still unable to cover the remaining tuition and living expenses in Paris on my own. As a non-French student, I have limited access to local loan opportunities. I’m currently working and applying for additional scholarships and grants, but I can’t do this alone.
Your support—no matter the size—brings me one step closer to making this dream a reality.
With gratitude,
Calissa
