Hello, in June 2025, Cali Marie turned 1 year old. She was later diagnosed with liver cancer about a week after her birthday. As you can imagine, this has been hard on her grandmother, grandpa, and brother, who she lives with. I am her aunt and also help with her, but her primary caregivers are older people doing their best to deal with this. They have very limited income, so we are reaching out with the hopes we can get help covering the costs not covered by her medical.

As of June 25th, 2025, we were told she has liver cancer and has to undergo chemo, surgery, and possibly a liver transplant. They had her in the hospital for a little less than a week, did a biopsy, and were told she was able to go home until July 10th (her first official oncology appointment). We would have the biopsy results back by then (they did blood work, and her markers were extremely high, along with the swollen liver and the tumors found on her scans). Today, July 5th, she will be going back to the hospital because she now has some jaundice and is slow-moving.

Update: she had first chemo set this last Monday and Tuesday. Blood transfusion was Wednesday night. She doing ok but not like she used to be. She tired quickly and everyone is doing their best. Gotta watch signs of infections ect. She is home for now (as of Thursday) and Monday goes back for chemo again.
