I rescued my Cali girl when she was just 10 months old. She has been with me through every milestone in my adult life and has been the most loyal and loving animal I could have ever asked for. Cali has lived a long and healthy life until about a month and a half ago. After many vet visits, X-rays, blood work, medications, and diet changes, she was finally diagnosed with bladder stones. Due to the size and number of stones, Cali now faces almost a complete bladder blockage. This is making it very difficult for her to urinate, as well as causing bleeding and pain.
Because of this, surgery is required for her health and safety. This is a common procedure with positive outcomes and little risk, and it will allow Cali to continue living a happy, active, and comfortable life for years to come. Unfortunately, this unexpected event will cost thousands of dollars. Pet insurance is unavailable to Cali, we do not qualify for any local grants, and surgery is required immediately.
I am extremely grateful for your love, support, donations, and willingness to share our story. Any help you can give means the world to us and will help Cali get the care she needs to keep being the wonderful companion she’s always been.
