On August 10, 2026, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia and changed everything in an instant. The devastation has been overwhelming, especially in Cali, my city, where I was born and raised and where my family still lives. My parents, aunts, cousins, friends, and so many people in the community I love are now facing the aftermath of collapsed buildings, damaged homes, and urgent uncertainty. Streets I grew up on are covered in rubble, families have lost their homes overnight, and many are struggling to find safe shelter, food, and medical care. Living in the USA and watching my city suffer from far away has been heartbreaking. I felt helpless seeing the destruction from a distance, and I knew I had to do something to support the people I love.

I am raising funds to send direct, immediate help to my family and trusted community contacts in Cali so they can respond to the most urgent needs on the ground. Donations will help provide clean water, food, temporary shelter, medical supplies, debris removal tools, and support for families beginning the long process of rebuilding.
