Help Caleb Trimble Save His Family Home

Hello, I'm Caleb Trimble. I'm a Navy veteran who has found myself in dire straits I can't navigate alone.

Over three years ago, I was diagnosed with two mental health disorders and was medically retired from the military in 2023. During the peak of my disorders, I was in and out of psychiatric care facilities and was in an extremely dark place. Compounded by this, I was in financial shambles, struggling to make ends meet.

I was unable to pay my mortgage, along with car loans and other bills. I was able to keep my head above water for a while thanks to support from family, but the weight has become too heavy to bear.

Today, I was contacted by my mortgage company and was offered a loan modification to get me back on the right track. The issue is, the modification requires me to pay over $1k more than my original loan, which would dry up my only source of income (disability). The other options were to make the loan current or move.

My family has lived in this house for the last 6 years, and we love everything about it. My children have gained friendships in school and in the neighborhood, and it's a great place for them to grow.

My hope is that through this GoFundMe, we can make our loan current and get back on the right path. With my mental health stable, I truly believe that if given an opportunity, we can turn ourselves around and thrive once more.
