Hi, I’m Caleb. Some of you know me from Quora — I’ve spent years writing about philosophy, software, and surviving the long road back from trauma.
I’m at a crunch point. After teaching myself to code and working my way into software, I hit a short-term income gap right as I was catching up on back rent — about $3,000. I’m doing everything I can to close it and keep my footing.
I’m doing everything I can — DoorDash 10–12 hours a day this weekend, applying for new software jobs, and starting enrollment at WGU in December. If I can just keep my apartment through November, I’ll be fully caught up and stable again.
I’m not asking for charity. I’m asking for a handhold. A way to stay in the fight.
If you’ve ever found value in my writing, my code, or my story, please help me bridge this short gap.
Goal for now is $600.
Every dollar goes to rent and utilities while I finish this sprint.
Thank you for reading — and for helping me prove that persistence can actually win.
