Caleb had some sort of infection complete with high fever. He is a type 1 diabetic which gave him extremely high BG, he tried to take insulin to stay ahead of the higher blood sugars but it just couldn't be done which is where the DKA came into play, I think that high blood sugars shut his kidneys down and made him have a few mini strokes!  He had a high fever and stomach pains I am not sure if they ever figured out where the infection was in his body.  He now has diabetic neuropathy in his hands and feet! The stroke left him a little weaker on the right side (only slightly) physical Therapy will help. Please help Caleb with medical expenses as he hasn’t been at work for two weeks and we are not sure when he’ll be able to go back. He has been to 3 hospitals and had numerous tests done. He could use any help he can get! Thank you everyone!
