Meet Caleb Middleton – a brave 31-year-old fighting to reclaim his life from schizoaffective disorder.

After a recent crisis left him hospitalized and unable to return home safely, Caleb is ready to take his next courageous step: moving into Amber Lantern Transitional Housing. Amber Lantern specializes in helping adults with serious mental illness rebuild their independence through 24/7 nursing support, medication management, life-skills coaching, and evidence-based therapies.

The program costs $6,500 per month—far beyond what Caleb or our family can manage alone. A three-month stay will give him the structure, counseling, and daily-living training he needs to stabilize, relearn essential skills, and chart a path toward meaningful, self-directed living.

Here is a summary of how the funds will be used. 100% of these funds will be used to cover the expenses for the group home (Amber Lantern) and the training that they offer. The cost for us will be 6500 per month plus some additional funds for weekly shopping.
