Support Caleb Halland’s Journey to donating a Kidney for his dad, Jason Halland!

Our grandson, Caleb Halland, has offered to donate a kidney to his dad, Jason Halland. Caleb does not have health insurance, but his hospital bills will be taken care of by Jason’s insurance. We are asking for help to assist Caleb with traveling and hotel expenses to and from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and to help him with lost wages during his pre-op, surgery, and post-op appointment travels to Mayo. Caleb has started the testing process locally to see if he is a match and will begin the process at Mayo starting June 16th. We ask for your help so we can make this process less stressful for all. Together, we can help provide his dad, Jason, with the gift of life and give him the chance to live a healthy, fulfilling future.

Our son and Caleb’s dad, Jason Halland, was diagnosed with early-stage Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in his 20s. The disease ultimately progressed to Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease in 2023. Since then, he has been undergoing dialysis three times a week, which takes a toll on him physically. Jason is a father to six children, raising his middle daughter alone after her mother passed and isn't able to work. He is now fighting a life-threatening battle and is in desperate need of a transplant.
