Help Caleb's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
On Sunday, April 27th, five-year-old Caleb was taken to the ER at Children’s at the advice of a local Urgent Care. His strange bruising, arm pain, low-grade fevers, and petechiae were cause for concern and needed prompt examination. Upon arriving at Children’s, the family quickly learned through a simple blood test that Caleb had Leukemia, and he was moved to the oncology unit to begin treatment immediately. Jesse and Chelsie were devastated but ready to do anything and everything necessary to get their spunky, fun-loving, adventurous little boy back.

The family has been living at Children’s since late April and will remain until the portion of inpatient treatment is complete. They have a long road ahead of them. This will be a two and a half year process, one that brings them to and from the hospital weekly for treatment, as well as the possible inpatient stay here and there. If there is one word to describe Caleb, it is perseverance. He is steadfast and strong, as well as determined and brave. Leukemia should be afraid.

About the family: Originally from Monroe/Randolph counties in IL, the family made the move to Jefferson County, Missouri, in the fall of 2023. Mom works in the K-2 Anchor Room at Pevely Elementary, helping kids regulate and learn more about their emotions. She is slated to graduate in the spring of 2026 with her teaching degree. Dad is a Ford Master Mechanic at Reuther Ford in Herculaneum. Caleb will start Kindergarten this August and is very excited. They also have two cats who Caleb loves dearly.

This fundraiser aims to support Caleb's medical journey. Your support will make a significant difference, allowing them to focus on Caleb's recovery and well-being. To follow along with Caleb's fight, please join "Caleb's Crew" on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/share/g/12Jg9YKEQio/
