Hello everyone,

On July 16th Caleb went to work as an arborist as he usually does but this time he fell out of the tree he was working on and fell to the ground. Caleb fell 25 feet and landed on his back. He was transported by ambulance & has a fractured T12 vertebrae. He has been admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL.

By the Grace of God, Caleb is alive. The neurosurgeon had said most people do not survive a fall of that magnitude and if they do, they are paralyzed. Although he is very lucky to be alive, Caleb has a lengthy recovery ahead of him & is experiencing quite a bit of pain and may need surgery. At minimum, Caleb will be in a full back brace and out of work for 12 weeks. Caleb is the sole provider for his family and works extremely hard to provide for his wife and 2 young children. At the time of the fall, Caleb was medically uninsured and working as an independent contractor and is not eligible for workers compensation. Minimum of 12 weeks of not working will take a huge tole on Caleb & Mishayla financially. I am asking for friends and family to above all else, pray for Caleb’s healing. Pray for a FULL recovery. Pray for Mishayla and the kids to navigate through this tough time. If you are able to donate, please do.
