My name is Cale, and I’m a music education major at Appalachian State University. This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to perform with the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps—a dream that will give me vital experience and connections for my future career in music education. Being selected for this group is an honor, but it also comes with significant costs for tuition, travel, uniforms, and more.
As a full-time college student, it’s tough to earn the kind of money needed to support this endeavor. I’m fortunate to have some support from my family, but as you can imagine, the expenses add up quickly. Participating in the Spartans will help me grow as a musician and educator, and open doors for me after graduation, but I can’t do it alone.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support—whether that’s sharing my story or making a contribution. Keep an eye out for my social media links to take you along on my journey so you can see what DCI drum corps is and how it will impact my future.
Thank you for helping me pursue my passion and take this important step in my music career!
