Cal is my 3-year-old fur baby, and we almost lost him. He developed a urinary stone that caused a life-threatening blockage, and we had to rush him in for emergency care. To save his life, Cal needed a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery. We would have done anything to help him, and thankfully he made it through, but the total veterinary bill came to $3,500, which we were not prepared for.

Now that Cal is home, his whole little world has changed. He has new food, medications, a new bathroom routine, and he needs to be watched closely while he heals and adjusts. He does not understand why everything is different, and we are doing everything we can to keep him safe, comfortable, and on the road to recovery. The support from this fundraiser will help us cover Cal’s emergency veterinary bill and the care he needs during recovery.

I am asking for help for Cal as he heals and adjusts to this new life. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean so much to us and help ease the burden of this unexpected emergency. If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing Cal’s story. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my sweet boy and giving him the chance to heal.
