(Cal has approved this fundraiser, but please do not contact him directly at this time - thank you!)
Cal Montgomery means a lot to many people in the disability community.

He has written many very important pieces of writing , including
"Critic of the Dawn" .
Now Cal needs our support.
His power wheelchair is broken and does not fit him. The chair is badly hurting his body. His insurance company is supposed to pay for a new chair that fits, but they won't. Cal has asked many times, and he can't wait
any longer.
We are a group of Cal's friends raising money to pay for a new power chair. Power chairs are expensive and often need repairs over time, so we want to raise enough to cover the chair and any repairs. That way, Cal won’t have to pay a lot of money to fix the chair.
Funds will go directly to Cal - one of his close friends will gather them and use them as Cal needs.
If we raise the full amount or more, Cal can get a chair and keep doing his amazing work.
Please help Cal!
