On September 17, Caitlyn Sinopoli’s life changed in an instant when she was involved in a devastating 10-car pileup. Caitlyn was at the end of the impact, and the force of the crash completely demolished her vehicle.

Looking at what is left of her car, we are incredibly grateful that Caitlyn is still here with us.

Unfortunately, Caitlyn suffered severe injuries, including multiple fractures and bleeding in her brain. She is expected to spend multiple weeks in the hospital, followed by weeks of physical therapy and rehabilitation. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her.

But Caitlyn isn’t just the person in that wrecked car.

She’s a mom. ❤️

Caitlyn is the devoted mother of a special-needs child who means absolutely everything to her. Anyone who knows Caitlyn knows how much she loves her son and how much of herself she gives to taking care of the people she loves.

She’s also the kind of friend who would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice. Caitlyn has always been there for the people around her, and that’s exactly why she has such a huge group of friends and family standing behind her now.

And in true Caitlyn fashion, she’s taking everything that’s been thrown at her like a champ.

But being strong doesn’t make the bills disappear.

While Caitlyn focuses on healing, she will be unable to live and work normally for some time. Donations will help with medical and rehabilitation expenses, lost income and everyday living expenses, transportation and recovery needs, and helping keep life as stable as possible for her son while his mom recovers.

We’re starting this fundraiser with a goal of $10,000, but the true cost of Caitlyn’s recovery isn’t something we can possibly know yet.

Right now, we simply want Caitlyn concentrating on getting better — not worrying about how she’s going to pay the next bill.

She’s been there for so many of us.
