Hey! I'm Caitlyn. I live in Kentucky, I have two boys, and they are bigger than I am these days! A couple of years ago, I got my license suspended over insurance. Please feel free to check; I'm not a felon, nor have I ever had a drug or DUI offense. It's purely because I have a lead foot and often get ahead of myself. If I could afford to pay my car insurance, light bill, rent, or gas to continue to drive to work, I would have paid it, but honestly, it wasn't a priority at the time, and I didn't think it could happen to me. Fast forward to now... I've got my license back, but now I can't afford a payment on a vehicle where I'm required to have full coverage insurance. It's getting increasingly hard to find rides to the grocery store, ballpark, and continue to pay my rent and bills without a vehicle and a job because no one will hire me without reliable transportation. I don't have family that can help me any more than they can help themselves. My social media community suggested this GoFundMe, and after much hesitation and consideration, I've decided to give it a go! I'm not asking for a brand new vehicle, I'm not asking for the best of the best. A new-to-me vehicle that will get me from point A to point B will do just fine. I don't care what it looks like, as long as it runs. With that in mind, I'll be eternally grateful to whoever donates, regardless of the amount. One day, I can hopefully pay it forward.
