Help Caitlyn Coe fight brain cancer
Donation protected
Caitlyn Coe, a 35-year-old mother, is facing the fight of her life. Originally from Maple Valley near Creemore, Caitlyn has always been known for her hard work, dedication, and involvement in sports within her community. For the past 15 years, Caitlyn has worked at Steer Enterprises Limited, but her life took a dramatic turn when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour on August 8, 2024.
On September 5, Caitlyn underwent surgery at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Toronto to remove the tumour. A week later, on September 12, she received the heartbreaking diagnosis: brain cancer.
Despite the challenges, Caitlyn remains strong and focused on her next steps. She is undergoing radiation treatment at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, with chemotherapy to follow. Caitlyn and her partner, Jay, who reside in Penetang, are doing everything they can to manage these challenges. During her treatments, Caitlyn will be travelling back and forth to Toronto and staying in lodging for some weeks. This journey is physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming.
Caitlyn’s 18-year-old son, Brody, lives in Fort Erie, where he plays competitive hockey for the Port Colborne Sailors. Brody is staying with a billet family, which adds another financial responsibility. Caitlyn is a fighter, but she and her family need your help during this incredibly difficult time of her not being able to return to work until treatments are finished and her body allows her to. The funds raised will go towards covering medical expenses, travel and lodging costs for her treatments, while she is unable to work.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in helping Caitlyn focus on her recovery and spending time with her family. Thank you for your support.
