Our dear friend Caitlin is going through an unimaginable chapter in her life. Her younger son, Owen, who will turn five this May, is currently hospitalized in Philadelphia and living on a Berlin Heart Pump while he awaits a life-saving heart transplant.

Every day, Caitlin makes the long commute from the shore to Philadelphia to be with Owen—balancing the emotional toll of watching her child fight for his life, caring for her two other boys, and managing this overwhelming situation with added stress from life's obstacles. She has had to step away from work entirely, sacrificing her income to be present for her son during this critical time.
