Caitlin is a two-time cancer warrior and a bone marrow transplant recipient — a true fighter in every sense of the word.
In January 2022, Caitlin was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Later that same year, in November, she received a second devastating diagnosis: Acute Myeloid Leukemia. In May 2023, she underwent a successful bone marrow transplant, with her mother as her donor — an incredible gift of life.
Since then, Caitlin has faced complication after complication from treatment. Most recently, on Monday, April 27, she was diagnosed with Alopecia after ongoing hair loss.
As she continues navigating this journey, Caitlin has decided to explore wearing a wig — something we’ve carefully researched together. This decision is about helping her feel like herself again, and I fully support her in it.
We had a consultation today with a highly recommended salon in Grapevine that specializes in personalized hair solutions, maintenance, and ongoing support for individuals at every stage of hair loss. It feels like a positive step forward during a challenging time.
Please continue to keep Caitlin in your thoughts and prayers. We are deeply grateful for the constant love, encouragement, and support — it truly means everything.
