Help Caitlin Fight Lymphoma and Guillain-Barré

Caitlin has been hit with one life‑changing diagnosis after another in the last three years — Prurigo Nodularis, then stage IIIB Hodgkin Lymphoma, then Guillain‑Barré Syndrome — and she’s still fighting with everything she has. Your support would make a huge difference.

Even before cancer entered the picture, Caitlin was already fighting a painful and exhausting skin condition called Prurigo Nodularis. It caused intensely itchy, inflamed nodules on the skin that were so severe they bled, scarred, and made everyday life incredibly uncomfortable. She lived with this for about a year, trying treatment after treatment until she finally found a medication that brought it under control. Just as we thought we were turning a corner, she noticed lumps forming in her neck. What followed were weeks of tests, scans, biopsies and uncertainty. Eventually, we received the diagnosis no one ever wants to hear: stage IIIB Hodgkin Lymphoma, with a large mass formed in her diaphragm. It was devastating news, but she faced it with the same positivity, courage, and determination she brings to everything in her life.

She began chemotherapy with the hope that this would be the beginning of her healing. But in the middle of treatment, Caitlin developed Guillain‑Barré Syndrome, a rare autoimmune condition that caused sudden paralysis and required LifeFlight to a larger hospital hours away, a week in intensive care, and over a month in a rehabilitation hospital. Her chemotherapy had to be paused while she fought to regain the ability to move, stand, and walk. She worked through every setback with a strength that still amazes me, and today she is still relearning how to walk — using a wheelchair and walker to get around as she continues her rehabilitation. After extensive scans and evaluation, her medical team determined that radiation therapy was the safest and most effective next step. So now, on top of everything she has already endured, Caitlin has begun radiation — another major chapter in a journey that has been full of twists, setbacks, and decisions we never expected to face. Through all of this, she has shown a level of determination and grace that inspires everyone around her.

But the financial strain of nonstop medical care, rehabilitation, mobility needs, lost income, and travel for treatment every day has become more than we can manage alone. The funds raised will help cover mounting medical bills, travel expenses for treatments, home modifications, and day-to-day expenses and bills. We are asking for help not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary. Your support — whether through donations or simply sharing this page — makes a real difference in keeping Caitlin’s care on track and giving her the best chance at full recovery and a better quality of life. Thank you for standing with us through every twist, setback, and small victory. Your kindness means more than we can ever express.
