Help Caitlin Fight Breast Cancer ♡
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
This month, we received the very challenging news that my amazing 27-year-old sister-in-law Caitlin was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
This has taken us all by surprise and we're rallying together to provide her with the support she needs on this unexpected journey. Caitlin is about to go through chemotherapy and surgery over the next 6-8 months. Because of her age, there have been/will be been additional tests and treatments done, causing extra expenses a 20-something should never have to endure. Caitlin's courage is so inspirational to us all.
For those who know Caitlin, she is extremely strong, caring and passionate about everything she does. An amazing teacher, wife, dog mom, friend and Disney fan! She is humble and never asks for help, the resilience of this woman is unmatched. This journey is going to be long and tough, but we know so many people have been touched by Caitlin's love and pixie dust.
We have had so many people reach out, asking how they can help. We so appreciate all of your love and support thus far!
As many of you know, battling cancer is not only emotionally draining but also financially burdensome. Caitlin and my brother Daniel are and will be facing medical bills, treatments, and other expenses that have put a strain on her and her family. Our goal is to lift some of this financial weight off her shoulders, allowing her to focus on her health and well-being.
How You Can Help:
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Here's how your support will help:
Medical Expenses: Donations will go towards covering medical treatments, tests, and consultations that are not covered by insurance.
Doggie Day Care: My (dog) niece Luna is 6 months old. While she is the most incredible addition to our family, training and caring for a puppy at this time will be an added difficulty. We are so grateful for the wonderful care at Camp Bow Wow in Stamford. Having a place for Luna to go more regularly will relieve some pressure at home.
Emotional Support: By contributing, you're showing Caitlin that she's not alone in this fight. Your messages of love and encouragement mean the world to her.
Travel and Accommodation: Caitlin might need to travel for specialized treatments. Your support can help ease the costs of travel and accommodation.
We understand that times are tough for many, and any support you can provide is deeply appreciated. If you're unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network and keeping her in your prayers. Your help in spreading the word is invaluable.
Updates:
We'll keep you updated on Caitlin's progress, treatment milestones, and any news related to her battle. Your generosity will be a beacon of hope in her journey toward recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Caitlin's support team. Your kindness is a light in this challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
Madeline
