Help Caitlin and Reese after fire
Donation protected
Hello,
Last night, my dear friend, Caitlin Stedding, had a horrible electrical fire at her home that totaled the entire inside (she lives in a brick house). Thankfully, her, her daughter Reese, and her two dogs got out safely...but the cat is unaccounted for as of today. :(.
She, Reese and her dog Lily narrowly escaped with the clothes on their back (Reese was half dressed as Caitlin was changing her). Caitlin ran to the neighbors, dropped her daughter off and yelled for them to call 911. Caitlin and her neighbor ran back in to the burning house to grab the second dog and cat still trapped inside. They were able to find the second dog Henry, but the intensity of the fire drove them out and they weren't able to find the cat (she is hoping he escaped and is just scared in the woods).
Caitlin is a single mother, who works hard as a flight attendant. She lost her Mom two years ago, her family Lab, 6 months later, and now her home that her and her daughter lived in. Although she is thankful for getting out safely she has lost everything. I know she would not ask for help, but for all that she does for her friends this is a time for us to come to her time in need. Everything in the house is damaged or a complete loss. All of Reese's toys destroyed. I don't think she nor anyone that was there will forget the sight nor the smell of that fire.
I have set up a Go-Fund-Me page to help get her back on her feet. Anything that you can donate to help, I know she would be beyond grateful. I want to personally thank you for being an amazing friend to her, too, and for coming in this time of loss and destruction.
Sincerely her friend,
Shelley
