Help Caitlin and her family after her accident

Donation protected
My cousin Caitlin Masoud is an RN Supervisor at the Whitney Center in Hamden, CT, and while on her way to work the morning of February 22, 2022, she was tragically involved in a serious car accident resulting in life-changing injuries.

For those who know Caitlin, you know her to be kind, caring, strong and independent. She is a mother, sister, daughter, nurse, granddaughter, cousin, and the list goes on, as she is loved by so many. Caitlin is married to her loving husband Sammy Masoud, who has been by her side since the accident as she has undergone surgeries and remains in critical care at Yale New Haven Hospital. They have a two year old boy, Logan Masoud, who has been without his mother this past week and might not be able to see her for some time as she recovers due to COVID Protocols and visiting restrictions.

We are so grateful that she is still fighting, and her family and friends are all here to support her through this challenging time. Her recovery from here will be a significant uphill battle, and will require much medical intervention, rehabilitation and physical therapy. This is a highly challenging time for Caitlin and her family, both emotionally and physically.

We ask, first and foremost, that everyone send their love and support to Caitlin and her family as they face the challenges to come, as it will take time for them to heal from this.

If you are able, please also send any donations here to help her and her family with the financial burden that lies ahead. The year to come will bring extensive medical and rehabilitation expenses as well as unexpected daycare expenses for Logan, missed income while Caitlin is unable to work, and immediate expenses as Sam and her father, Andrew, sister Mia and mother Anita have been spending all of their time traveling to New Haven to be by her bedside at the hospital.
