As many of you know, Cai passed on 12/07/24 at 6:18 a.m.
He fought a valiant fight, and in the end they were not able to save him.
Our world is crushed and we have received so many kind words and gestures from you all.

We will continue our fundraiser for a bit longer to raise funds for hospital bills, family time to soften the biggest hit of our lives lost hours of work, and end of life care/services. We thank you, again for surrounding us with love and for your wishes of comfort for our family.

- Update: Cai's condition has continued to deteriorate and unfortunately his life cannot be saved. As you can imagine this is an unbearably painful outcome for our family. If you are in a place to contribute to the ongoing hospital bills, and end of life care, we cannot thank you enough for your support. For those that cannot contribute financially, our family wants you to know that we hear all of your words of kindness as well as the mental and spiritual support that you are sending. This is without a doubt the most painful experience that any of us have ever found ourselves in. We can feel, and want to acknowledge our community wrapping your collective arms around us, and could not make it through these days without your love.
