Please Help Me Honor My Sister Vanessa’s Memory with a Resting Place at the Hollywood Forever

Hi, my name is Cai. I’m reaching out with a hopeful request that you will help me honor my beloved sister, Vanessa, who passed away earlier this year. My sister burned bright, sharp witted, kind, hilarious, wildly creative, and full of heart. She saw the world differently. A true poet and dreamer, she carried whole worlds inside her, and embodied the whole of her art. She had this mix of tenderness and fire in her that made you feel lucky just to be known by her. She was magnetic to those who saw her clearly, and she loved hard. To be known by her was to be changed. She was radiant, and real, and always unforgettable.

It would mean the world to me to place her name and memory at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where her spirit can be honored in a beautiful, sacred space among artists, dreamers, and visionaries. I am working to secure a boulder niche in their rose garden for her a permanent resting place where friends, chosen family, and I can visit her, leave flowers, and reflect.
