Help Cafe Artistes Open Its First Permanent Home

Donation protected
Ten years ago, Cafe Artistes began with a simple vision: to create a place where artists, performers, and community members could come together over coffee, conversation, and creativity. Last year, we finally opened up our doors as a tiny mobile cafe.

Since opening, we have been overwhelmed by the support we've received. In our first year of business, we've built something special. What started as a small café has become a gathering place for artists, musicians, performers, and neighbors who believe that creative spaces matter.

Now we have an opportunity that we never imagined would come so soon.

Cafe Artistes has the chance to move into a brick-and-mortar location, giving us a permanent home and the ability to continue growing what we've started. We are raising $8,000 to help cover moving expenses, deposits, setup costs, and the many expenses that come with opening a new space.

Having a permanent location would allow us to stay open and operate fully throughout the winter months. More importantly, it would give us a dedicated space to host evening performances, art shows, community gatherings, and events that support the creative people who have helped make Cafe Artistes what it is today.

Cafe Artistes was founded as a café of artists and performers. That spirit has guided us from day one. We have always wanted to create more than a coffee shop. We wanted to create a home for creativity and community.

We are incredibly proud of what we've accomplished in our first year, but we know that we could do even more with a space of our own. This opportunity feels like the next step in the story that all of you have helped write.

If Cafe Artistes has ever been a place where you've felt welcome, inspired, supported, or connected, we would be grateful for your help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to opening the doors of our new home.

And if you're not able to donate, sharing our campaign with friends, family, and fellow supporters means just as much.

Thank you for believing in Cafe Artistes and for being part of this community. We are excited for what comes next, and we hope you'll help us take this next step.

With gratitude,

Elaine Leon and Ami Campbell
