Ever since I lost my mother at the age of 13, I’ve been on my own, doing my best to survive and keep moving forward. Life hasn’t been easy—I’ve worked hard to keep a job and dream of going back to school, but recently I lost my job and now I’m on the verge of being homeless again. Despite everything, I’m still trying to make a change for my education and future career, hoping for a better tomorrow.
If I can raise funds, they would go toward having reliable transportation, paying rent, buying food, and getting the school supplies I need. These essentials would help me get back on my feet and give me a real chance to pursue my education and build a stable future. I want to work, learn, and contribute, but right now I need a helping hand to get through this tough time.
I’m not someone who’s known for asking for help. In fact, I often suffer in silence because I worry that reaching out makes me look weak. But I can’t keep struggling the way I have my whole life. I have no more options, and if I could get help, it would truly be life-changing. Not only would I feel a sense of community, but I’d also feel like I actually mattered—something I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember. It’s always felt like me against the world. Receiving help from my community, friends, and family would uplift my spirit and give me the motivation I need to keep going, to keep trying, and to go back to school to further my career. Anything you can give would help and be greatly appreciated.
