Cady was fine one day and the next, she was vomiting bile and wouldn't eat. We took her to the vet and tests showed possible liver failure. It was a terrifying moment for us, as Cady is not just a pet—she is truly a part of our family. After more tests, we learned she had gallstones and an inflamed liver. Her gallbladder had to be removed, and while the surgery was successful, it was a major ordeal for our little six-pound girl. The medications, the time she needs to recover, and the 24/7 care at Blue Pearl Spring have been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of her hospital stay, the tests, medications, surgery, and the ongoing care she needs while in the hospital. Once Cady is able to come home, she will require a special low-fat diet for the rest of her life because she no longer has a gallbladder. We want to give her every possible chance to recover and live a happy, healthy life.
