We are living in our car right now.
I am a single mother facing the terrifying reality of homelessness. Until recently, I was doing everything I could to manage my life and health, but a perfect storm of medical and financial crises has pushed me to the brink.

 **The Crisis** I live with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and PTSD, two conditions that require consistent treatment and stability to manage. When I lost my job due to my health, I was forced onto disability. Despite my best efforts, the financial collapse was inevitable. My disability income is simply not enough to pay rent.

 I am now homeless with my child, sleeping in the car. The heat, the pain, and the fear of being on the streets are affecting my mental health (PTSD) and physical health (CRPS) daily. The uncertainty of where we will sleep tonight is devastating for my child and impossible for my body to withstand.

 **Why We Need Help Now** My original goal was to raise $70,000 for CRPS treatment. That treatment can wait because we are sleeping in a car. My priority right now is immediate, stable housing for my child and me. Without a safe place to live, my health will likely deteriorate further, and my child will continue to endure the trauma of homelessness.

I need funds to: Secure Immediate Housing: Cover security deposits, first/last month's rent, and relocation costs to get us out of the car and into an apartment.

Relocation Assistance: Help cover moving costs and the immediate expenses of setting up a new home.

Stabilization: Once we are housed, I can finally begin to focus on managing my CRPS and PTSD through proper medical care.

 My Story: I am a single mother who has fought hard for my child. I never imagined I would be telling you this story from the backseat of a car. My CRPS causes severe pain and swelling, and my PTSD is triggered by the instability of not having a home. But I am holding on because I have my child. We just need a safe place to call home.

 **The Goal** I am raising funds to get us into a safe, stable apartment as quickly as possible. Every dollar goes toward rent, deposits, and moving costs. Any funds above that will help me finally access the medical care I need to manage my conditions in the long term.
