Help Cadence attend a Summer Theatre Program in New York!

My name is Cadence and I’m a grade 11 student at Ecole McTavish. I have had a lifelong dream of pursuing a career in theatre. I have the opportunity to attend a summer conservatory program in New York and learn from some world class instructors and get an idea of what the university program is like. I have been training in dance, voice, speech arts and theatre since I was 3 years old. I am only 16 but have already been in 13 musicals. I am extremely dedicated to this and over the past 3 years alone I have put approximately 1000 hours a year into training, rehearsals, and performances. I have represented our community at the provincial music festival the past two years and will be doing so again this May. This past October I was honoured with the first ever “Youth Leader in the Arts” from Arts Council Wood Buffalo at their annual arts awards. The arts are a passion of mine and I have taken part in all I could in our community and am ready to take this giant leap. The funds raised will be used for tuition at the Summer High School Conservatory at AMDA(American Musical and Dramatic Academy) , travel, and room and board. I am extremely grateful and thank you for any and all support. My deadline for payment to the program is May 15, 2025.
