Help Cadence Achieve Gender Affirming Surgery
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Cadence, I am nonbinary and trans. I have been out as trans for about 5 years now, and I have been on testosterone for almost 2 years!
Since I was young my chest was always a part of me that didn't seem to fit. I remember learning about top surgery and immediately knowing that was right for me. My goal since then was to have this surgery in order to improve my dysphoria, mental health, overall confidence and happiness. I have had to put top surgery off for a while because I am currently a full time student at Gallaudet University, I recently moved out of my home state, and I'm living on my own for the first time.
Top surgery is very expensive and unfortunately, insurance doesn't always cover gender affirming care. I am finally ready to dive into this process head on and reach the goal I've been patiently waiting for for a long time! With consultations, travel, the surgery itself, as well as recovery, this is an expensive process. Any amount of help is appreciated no matter how small. Your support means more than you'll ever know!
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, I am more than happy to answer!
Please share this wherever you can!
