I am raising funds for myself and my son after a traumatic experience that changed our lives. While working in the kitchen, I was attacked from behind by a former Bossier Parish sheriff deputy. The attack was completely unprovoked—I was put in a full Nelson and assaulted. The officer was fired and charged, but the aftermath has been incredibly difficult. I now deal with severe PTSD and anxiety, and the fear of retaliation has made it impossible for me to return to work.
I've shared my story on KSLA News 12 to raise awareness and help prevent others from going through what I did. My main focus now is to heal, care for my son, and seek justice. The funds raised will help me retain an attorney, cover gas for doctor and attorney visits, and provide basic needs like food. Your support will allow me to focus on my recovery and ensure my son is taken care of during this challenging time.
I'm asking for help so I can get the legal support I need, make it to my medical appointments, and provide for myself and my son. Any support means the world to us and will help me move forward and protect others from similar harm. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation.
