Caden is my loving and loyal dog who has always been by my side, especially during my toughest moments with anxiety. He’s not just a pet—he’s a protector of our home and a source of comfort for everyone who knows him. Caden’s gentle, caring nature and constant need for affection make him truly special to me and my family.

When Caden was about a year old, we noticed he was losing sight in his left eye. After several visits to doctors and specialists, we learned that he had inherited cataracts from his parents. Over the next year, his condition worsened, and now he is blind in both eyes. The specialists explained that surgery could remove the cataracts, as it’s a film covering his eyes, but the cost is more than we can manage on our own.

Caden’s blindness has made daily life challenging for him. He’s scared to go up the stairs after falling a few times, and he often bumps into things or struggles to find his food. It’s heartbreaking to watch him lose his confidence and independence. We’re raising funds to cover the cost of cataract surgery for both eyes and the necessary follow-up care. Getting this surgery as soon as possible would give Caden the chance to regain his sight, restore his quality of life, and continue being the loving companion and protector he’s always been.
