Help Caden Johnson Empower Communities in Bali

Hello!
My name is Caden Johnson, and I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected for a competitive internship with the Suwandi Foundation in Bali, Indonesia, where I have the opportunity to support educational initiatives and conduct research rooted in applied anthropology.
I will graduate this May from Ursinus College with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology, with a focus on race, ethnic relations, and community empowerment.
As an aspiring scholar and community leader, I see this internship as a crucial step toward a career focused on social justice, education, and international development. This opportunity will deepen my understanding of global inequalities, while equipping me with the tools to engage in ethical, community-centered work, and cultivate global citizenship.
As a first-generation college student and soon-to-be graduate, I face financial barriers to participating in this internship. To make this experience possible, I am working hard to raise $5,000 to cover travel expenses, program fees, and research material.
Any contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to engaging in a project that blends eye-opening global education with meaningful impact. If you're unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your various networks is also much appreciated.
Thank you for believing in the value of education, cross-cultural learning, and community-based research. I look forward to bringing these lessons home and continuing to work toward a more just and connected world.
With gratitude,
Caden Johnson
