Caden is the teen-aged son of our friend, Angela Potter. Caden has been a baseball star since Little League, and he is looking forward to playing in college.

Last week, after weeks of strange symptoms, he was diagnosed with Germinoma, a rare form of brain cancer. The cancer originates in the brain before birth, and generally presents between the ages 11-19 years old. He has had surgery, and now requires a series of chemo to battle this terrible disease.

Caden is a terrific young man, and Angela's only child. This diagnosis is, of course, devastating for them. Angela is going to need time off work to be with him in the hospital, and there will be medical and other necessary expenses.
