Help "Caco" Carlos D'Oliveira Beat Leukemia

Carlos D’Oliveira, a cherished figure in the New York artistic and cultural scene, and a vibrant promoter of Brazilian culture, is currently in a battle for his health. Hospitalized with leukemia, an illness that came without warning, Carlos faces a tough journey ahead. His treatment involves intense chemotherapy and frequent blood transfusions, significantly affecting his physical condition, mood, and spirit.

Tragically, during this challenging time, Carlos is unable to see or assist his young daughter who has special needs. The treatment, which could last between 3-6 months, is debilitating and has placed a substantial financial burden on him for medical and living expenses.

Dear friends from Brazil, lovers of Brazilian culture, Samba, and Latin culture, Carlos has always been a beacon of joy and cultural richness among us. He has dedicated his life to sharing the vibrancy of Brazilian arts and bringing smiles to countless faces. Now, he needs our help. Any support you can offer, be it through financial aid or blood donations, will make a significant difference in his life.

Let's rally around Carlos, a man who has given so much of himself to celebrate and spread the joy of our culture. This is our chance to give back to someone who has been an integral part of our community, bringing Brazilian and Latin culture to life in New York. Your support can help Carlos through this tough time and bring him back to doing what he loves most.
