Caboose is my 9-year-old Boston terrier, and he’s been my loyal companion through thick and thin. At the start of this year, he began having seizures, and after several visits to the vet, we learned it could be due to a brain tumor. The only way to know for sure is through an MRI, but the cost is more than we can afford right now. As I write this, I’m sitting with Caboose at the emergency vet clinic after his longest seizure yet. Even in these moments, he’s more concerned about me than himself, and it’s a reminder of how much he’s given me over the years. At one of my lowest points, Caboose would not leave my side, and I truly believe he saved my life. Now, I want to do everything I can to give him the chance for a long, happy life. The funds raised will go toward MRI payments, possible treatments, medication, and—if it’s possible—surgery if the tumor is removable.
