My name is Caasi, and I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for my family. In the middle of December, I lost my job and, unfortunately, my unemployment benefits have not started yet. On top of this, I have to move myself and my three kids to a new place by January 12th. This comes after a year of unimaginable loss—last year, I lost my husband, as well as my sister and brother. It’s been overwhelming to face so many challenges at once, but I am doing everything I can to keep my family safe and together.

The funds raised will go directly toward the costs of moving: renting a moving truck, hiring movers, and paying the deposit for our new home. Every bit of support will help us get through this transition and give my children a safe place to land. Your kindness will make a real difference in our lives as we try to rebuild and find stability again.
