This fundraiser is to help cover expenses for Chantale as they recover from top surgery!

Although it's been a loong struggle to get a date for this highly anticipated gender-affirming care, they are now left with a small amount of time to prepare for their recovery. Let's help them heal with peace of mind, knowing their needs are met as they recuperate.

Chantale will be off work from later in August until early October (at minimum), and they're currently unsure if they can receive funds from EI - and waiting to find out if they have any income until after surgery is too much of a risk.

The majority of money raised will go towards their sept & oct rent, with the remainder covering bills, groceries, potential pet boarding costs and meds/supplies for recovery.

Should they end up with funds beyond what is needed for this period (and/or EI comes thru), it will be donated back into local organizing, as follows:

if under $500, to Tuesday group; if over 500 but under 1000, split between TG and esims for Ga za; and if over $1000, split between TG, esims, and SWWAC.
